Corporate Tax Planning
There are some fairly obvious areas in which there can be corporation tax planning done.
The provision of pension contributions to either the directors, partners or indeed the workforce of the firm will provide corporation tax deductions, but there are many other areas in which this aim can be achieved.
Use of effective investment vehicles for the company with capital which may be required in the long term but not in the short term, can provide excellent tax planning opportunities.
For example, if an offshore bond was effected by a company in their name, and a gain was made on this bond, this could be offset against a year in which the company made losses thereby providing a more or less tax free return.
