About Kudos
Kudos Financial Services Ltd was formed in 1991 and Jim Tennent and his fellow directors were involved in a management buy out in 2000. Our head office is in Aberdeen and we opened an office in Glasgow in November 2003 and London in 2007 as part of our expansion plans. We also have plans for further expansion within the UK. Kudos are an advice based and not product based financial advisory company. We believe that listening to our clients is at the forefront of planning, whether this be on an individual or corporate basis.
Through our Due Diligence wing we have grown to be one of the largest Independent Group Pension advisors in Scotland and are now attracting corporate business from many large employers including plc’s. Developing our relationship with them, and developing our role in the market has meant new ideas and communication initiatives such as flexible benefits and online delivery of information to employees.
Within Kudos private clients we will deal with anything from a mortgage to a large investment, but have developed the investment and trust planning side of our business over the last few years.
The company was formed on the back of business relationships with accountancy firms, legal practices and investment houses and we have developed this to include many actuarial consultancies for our work involved in Final Salary Schemes.
The Kudos reputation has been one of good quality, clear and concise advice in all the areas in which we deal.
